I just realized that I had really racist family reunions as a kid. My grandma would dress us up in war paint and feathers and give us Indian names and we had mock pow-wows. How have I never thought about this before? I mean, my family claims to be like 1% Cherokee, but who doesn’t?
Can’t wait to see what the reunion with my Mormon relatives will be like this summer…
