-reading a crap ton and discovering new fandoms (hello, song of ice and fire!)

-learning to have pride in the things I do for MYSELF and not for my family (re: living my life for me).

Can’t wait to see what 2011 brings me!  For tonight, all I want is peach champagne, not to spill on my dress, and a kiss at midnight. <3

Getting a pizza to celebrate and building my Quidditch legos I got for Christmas.

JK Rowling in her college years was described as having “an attitude to academia best described as minimum work, maximum fun”.

So maybe those years I spent studying anthropology of pirates and comparative fairytales weren’t such a bad thing after all. :)

…they weren’t for me. I ate them anyway. I’m totally gonna have bad karma now, right?
